Neil Young: After the Goldrush – 1970 Radio Promo

September 6, 2008

I had this sitting around on my computer so I uploaded it to YouTube. It’s off the bootleg “Neil Young: Hard to Find Rarities on Compact Disk” which is a relatively well known bootleg available on most file sharing sites.

The voice of the announcers sounds a lot like Bill Graham, the famous music promoter. Who knows, if you have any info, let me know.

Enjoy

Saturday Afternoon Filler: The Barack Roll

September 6, 2008

I’m confident that you are familiar with rickrolling.  Here’s Barack-rolling.

Sorry if you’ve seen that before, but it’s filler.  What more do you want from me, other than not producing filler?

OK, to sorta make up for it, here’s Nick Lowe:

Do you remember Rick Astley?  He had a big fat hit–it was ghastly.

“Together Forever,” “It Would Take a Strong, Strong Man,” “She Wants to Dance With Me,” “Giving up on Love,” and “Cry For Help” are apparently forgotten, steamrolled by the rickroll.

When, oh when, will this injustice be rectified?
